Block & Manifold cooling for Chev engines; inboard,
V-Drive, and stern drive. Especially designed to take
advantage of low capacity raw water pumps used on stern
drive engines. Small block engines use a heat exchanger
that has a 4-inch diameter and is 25 inches long, four pass.
Big block engines use a heat exchanger that has a 5-inch
diameter and is 25 inches long, four pass. Installer must
supply hose and blank gaskets. In some installations
manifold fittings (pipe thread to hose) may be required.
If you question the ability of your exhaust manifold to adapt to fresh water cooling, call our manufacturing
facility for recommendations.
The Heat Exchanger is designed to mount off the engine on an engine stringer across the front of the engine,
or alongside of the engine.

Exhaust manifolds remain on raw water system. V6-V8 engines 262-305-360 CID, both Sterndrive (I/O) and
inboard. Especially designed to take advantage of the low capacity raw water pumps used on sterndrive engines.
This Econo-Kool system can be installed onto engines with high mounted alternators and/or v-drives.
MRC4068 Small Block Engines to 360 C.I.D.
This kit does not contain hoses and clamps. It is a hardware kit.
There are two known problems with installing EconoKool V-6 & V-8 kits (#4068/4068F):
1. OMC V-6 & V-8 with top mounted alternator
2. Volvo V-6 & V-8 with fuel line connection to carburetor pointing forward over
thermostat housing.
These models do not allow our thermostat housing to be bolted to the intake manifold. Please ask your customer for this information when they order, and if they have one of these setups, call us before ordering as we have several alternative options.
