Offered is our replacement for the 142-5703 Caterpillar Transmission Cooler. This cooler is a drop in replacement for the OEM cooler and is guaranteed for fit and function with a 2 year warranty per our terms and conditions. We build this part with equivalent baffling and materials so that it will properly cool your Caterpillar’s transmission.
One thing of note is that we use a cast seawater endcap. You may see competitor products offered with a stamped end cap, which are not equivalents. This cast end cap creates a more stable connection to the cooler resisting electrolysis and corrosion longer than stamped caps. You might find it easier to obtain access to zincs when replacing them as well. This is a longer lasting configuration and equivalent to the OEM’s design. This is the part you want.
This cooler has a 4 inch diameter and 12 inch bundle with 3/4" NPT Oil nuts and a Seawater connection which is 2-1/4".
